Tax Internship - Spring 2026 & 2027

Harper Pearson was founded in 1962, and we are a local mid-market CPA firm located in the Galleria area of Houston, Texas. We are looking for Tax Interns for Spring 2026, with full-time employment potential upon completion of a successful internship. These internships qualify for class credit and are hourly paid positions. We even pay for every hour worked over 40 hours.

Our interns are paid as staff employees and treated as staff in that you will complete tax returns from start to finish with the aid of our team members helping you every step of the way. Most successful internships result in full-time offers upon graduation. 

Requirements:

• Accounting Majors and/or Masters in Accounting
• Need to have completed Intermediate Accounting II by the start of the internship.
• GPA minimum: 3.0
• Eligible to sit for CPA Exam upon graduation.

Job Duties: Preparing 1040, 1041, 1065, 1120, etc. tax returns completely from start to finish within multiple different industries. You are given the same work as Tax Staff accountants, so you get to see first hand what it is like to work at a public accounting firm!
