About the Role:
The Nutrition & Cooking Intern will help bridge culture, health, and creativity through food. This role focuses on researching nutrition education, creating lesson ideas, and developing engaging cooking activities that inspire youth to explore healthy eating and cultural food traditions.
Responsibilities:
Research nutrition education strategies and culturally diverse recipes
Design and test creative lesson plans around healthy eating and cooking skills
Assist with cooking demonstrations and hands-on food activities for youth
Explore the connections between food, culture, and community wellness
Document and share resources that can be used in future Pura Vida Youth programs
