HR Recruiting Intern
How will this role impact First Command?
The HR Recruiting Intern assists Employment Specialists in all administrative aspects of their jobs to include scheduling interviews, filing paperwork, onboarding and orientation. The ideal candidate has excellent verbal and writing communication skills and is eager to learn.
What will the employee do in this role?
- Provide support with orientation and new hire activities to ensure best candidate experience
- Schedule interviews
- Review and organize resumes for manager review
- Complete ad hoc projects and administrative tasks as requested
- Post new jobs in our Applicant tracking system
- Conduct initial phones screens, as requested
What skills & qualifications do you need?
Education
- Must be a full time undergrad/grad student in good academic standing.
- Upcoming Junior or Senior in college pursuing a degree in business or human resources preferred (but not required)
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Must be available to work at Home Office at least on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 20-25 hours each week.
- Strong writing skills.

- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Professional who is able capable of keeping information confidential
