Content Marketing Intern

Hanes Companies, a division of Leggett & Platt (Member of S&P 500), is seeking a Content Marketing Intern. 

Hanes Geo Components is looking for a Content Marketing Summer Intern. You’ll get hands-on experience capturing in-the-field product photo and videography and manage a  summer-long social media campaign series. If you're passionate about visual storytelling and want to do real work you can put in your portfolio, this is the internship for you.

 

Responsibilities

Photography and Videography

• Travel into the field with our Sales team to get product shots, ensuring high-quality imagery showing textures and use-cases.
• Capture and edit behind-the-scenes and promotional content for social media.
• Assist filming and/or basic video editing using Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or similar.
• Help manage and organize photo and video files for internal use.
  
   

Design

• Design social media graphics, using Canva and/or Adobe Suite.
• Incorporate brand identity, ensuring visual consistency.
  
   

Social Media

• Help create content for the Hanes Geo Components LinkedIn page
• Utilize a social media scheduler to plan posts and pull channel metrics.
• Use insights from performance data to guide the structure of future posts.
  
   

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in marketing, design, photography, or a related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Familiarity with utilizing cloud drives such as OneDrive, Google Drive
• Within driving distance of one of the following Hanes Geo Components offices: Winston Salem, NC; Grapevine, TX; or Houston, TX.
  
   

Preferred

• Experience with online design software like Adobe CC Suite or Canva
• A DSLR camera with a basic lens kit.
