Job Description
Brains and Motion Education is in search of experienced summer camp Instructors for our Summer Camp programs. If you have experience teaching classes or camps, love working with kids and looking for a great work experience over the summer, Brains and Motion offers an incredible opportunity in our Summer Camp programs. We provide our industry-leading curricula and all needed materials for a fun and engaging camp experience!
Brains and Motion is a leading provider of STEM, Arts and Sports for students ages 6 to 14. Our focus is on providing the next generation of leaders and innovators.
In this role, you will:
- Instruct and manage a group of up to 10-12 campers.
- Utilize your subject-specific expertise to bring to life curriculum for campers.
- Ensure a fun, safe atmosphere that creates memorable experiences for all campers.
- Learn or utilize effective classroom management skills
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 1 year of experience working in a camp environment.
- Knowledgeable in subjects such as Music, Robotics, Engineering, Improv Comedy and Sports.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication skills (Strongly Preferred)
- Utilize your excellent communication skills to clearly communicate with both campers and their parents.
- Ability to recognize and either quickly resolve or raise up conflicts that may arise between campers.
- Ability to foster the personal growth of all campers and ensure a fun, safe and welcome environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate with both campers and their parents.
- Ability to work with kids in Grades Pre-K-8
- Strong organizational skills
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver’s license
- Background check required.
- Ability to lift and carry ~20-50 lbs. on an occasional basis with or without accommodations.
- Must be available Mondays to Thursdays from 8 AM to 11 AM
- Available full-time for the entire duration of summer camp, starting as early as June and running through August 2024.

- Dates: June 16, 2025 - July 10, 2025, | Mondays to Thursdays from 8 AM to 11 AM
- Wage: $ 25/hour
- Job Type: Part time, seasonal
