Enforcement Attorney (3 Vacancies)

Performs entry-level (journey-level) to highly complex (senior-level) legal work, depending on classification level in the attorney series.  Work involves investigating and litigating administrative actions against agency licensees and permittees for violations of the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code and Texas Administrative Code, overseeing and planning legal activities, preparing legal documents, participating in hearings, interpreting laws and regulations, and rendering legal advice and counsel. May supervise the work of others. 

Depending on the classification level in the attorney series - Works under general supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment to under minimal supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
